My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive, and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style. – Maya Angelou
It is so easy to get caught up in work and the everyday demands of life and start to feel like we are just trying to survive. It is sad to me that I have everything I need and everything I want, yet there are still times when I think about my life in terms of just surviving. I have no idea what it would be like to really have to survive. What most of us struggle to survive are our self-imposed crazy lives. It takes a concerted conscious effort to step back, regain perspective, and realize that we really do have control over the craziness.
Time in nature is what helps me regain my perspective. What helps you regain your perspective?
